What is a pre-wash treatment?
Our Pre-Wash Hair & Scalp Treatment is a botanical oil treatment you apply to dry hair only, before shampoo. It nourishes your scalp and lengths and helps leave your hair feeling softer, smoother, and shinier.
Should my hair be wet or dry?
Apply our treatment to dry hair only. You do not need to wet or shampoo your hair first. Leave the treatment on, then wet your hair and wash thoroughly with shampoo.
How long should I leave it on?
We recommend leaving our treatment on for 2 hours or overnight, then washing thoroughly with shampoo.
How often should I use it?
We recommend using our treatment 2–3 times per week, following the directions on the product.
Does the scalp scrubber come with it?
Yes. We include a scalp scrubber with the Pre-Wash Treatment, whether you choose the treatment on its own or our Complete Hair Ritual set.
What is in the complete set?
Our Complete Hair Ritual includes the 60 mL Pre-Wash Hair & Scalp Treatment, a scalp scrubber, and the 70 g RAW No. 7 Botanical Shampoo Bar.
Do I need RAW No. 7 to use the treatment?
You can wash out our treatment with your usual shampoo. RAW No. 7 is an optional addition if you would like to complete your routine with our botanical shampoo bar.
How do I look after my shampoo bar?
We recommend allowing your bar to dry fully between uses. Keep it somewhere it can drain rather than sitting in water.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
We recommend checking with your physician before using our treatment while pregnant or nursing, as it contains active botanical ingredients. Use externally only and avoid contact with your eyes.
